Born on March 29th, 1985, in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican child from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, is birthed in Mexico. The mother of two is Mexican American as well as an American through citizenship. Since the age of a child, she has had a strong desire to participate in sports. Gerina began to play golf at the age of 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school through Goddard High School. She was the winner of at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. A volleyball player, she was also a participant in state tournaments. 2003, she began studying in The University of Texas. She took home all the events she took part in throughout her final years. Through her college professional career, she took home an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and Female UTEP athlete of the Year.

Norman was recognized as an outstanding soccer player at Brockport which was where she primarily played in the defensive part of the ball. Norman was known as an outstanding defender at Brockport. She was on the defensive side of the ball. The freshman brings a number of great attributes for Lady Lakers in 2012.
