Laura Linney's performance of weak, yet strong characters has made her one of the most popular American actors. In just two short years after graduation the actress began her Broadway career. Following that, she made her debut on the world of film and television. She's been nominated for three Oscar Awards, five Tony Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards (including two Golden Globe Awards), as well as received numerous awards over her time on the stage. In spite of her many accolades, she is still a lover of theatre and has appeared on stage and screen.
