Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was that of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. In recognition of her performance, she won an Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won two SAG Awards.
Her mother, Anne, performed in church plays while she was a kid and instilled a passion of theater and performance in Jenna. Jenna was inspired by her mom's worship services at the time she started her journey.
She's an actress trained who was back in theater following The Office. She starred in the Off-Broadway show Reasons to be Happy, written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. The Old Globe Theatre's premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's most trusted friend on the real world and Fischer started her own podcast, the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October 2019. The show quickly was a hit. Each week it ranked in the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million downloads in its beginning two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
She has written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide in which she describes her experience in Hollywood as a working actor, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who Were There, an account of the most memorable friendship they had and their experiences on The Office.
